Dear students, staff, faculty and Division of Games Community,
From its founding, the Division of Games is an inclusive space to learn and work. Everyone is allowed to be their truest selves in our classes, in our building, in their teams, and in their lives. To our Transgender and Gender Expansive community, you belong. Games is a home for LGBTQIA+ students, and we are committed to providing quality education and a safe community for everyone. We acknowledge that during times like these feelings of anger, disillusionment, distrust and fatigue are valid. Know that the Division of Games stands with you in solidarity.
In partnership with the LGBT Resource Center on campus, we have collected links to programming and resources to uplift Trans+ voices during the week of 11/27-12/1. Everyone is invited to show support and solidarity by attending events.
To our LGBTQIA+ community and specifically our Trans+ community, we have compiled a list of resources available to you. We love that our community challenges us to grow, to shed practices of inequity, and make us better.
Thanks for being a part of Games and, one more time, YOU BELONG!
