Peer Advisors are undergrads pursuing a BS in Games who are available to assist both students and visitors in a variety of ways.
PA's combine the in-depth knowledge of policies and majors that an advisor has, with the understanding of classes and involvement that a student has.
Peer advisors are available for questions and help.
For a more in-depth meeting, please schedule a 1:1 through their scheduling links.
Please reach out to gamesadvising@utah.edu with any questions.

CURRENT PEER ADVISORS
Dialma

Hey there! I'm Dialma and I'm a Senior within the Division of Games. I transferred from SLCC with my AS in Animation and Visual Arts. Being a First-Gen Latina provided challenges like knowing how to pay for my education or navigating higher-ed systems, yet I've found my place here and support groups to guide me.
My focus within Games is 2D/3D art, working to get into the MEAE program here!
I'm an avid Team Fortress 2 player, if you need a support class then I'm here.

Ken

Hello! My name is Ken, and I'm a third-year student majoring in Games and minoring in Computer Science.
I'm an international student from China, and I love being in an environment with such a different culture. It's made me a very inclusive and open-minded person, and I'm always excited to meet people from different backgrounds.
I'm passionate about everything related to game development, especially where art and code meet. My focus is on becoming a VFX and Technical Artist. I'm a huge indie game lover—I have over a thousand hours in The Binding of Isaac—and am always excited to talk about new projects, whether it's for a class, a game jam, or just for fun.
My main goal as a peer advisor is to help other students bring their own game ideas to life and to connect with more collaborators. If you want to make a game, I want to help you!
