The EAE Building
In the fall of 2016, the Entertainment Arts and Engineering Program moved in to the newly renovated, 30,000 square foot Building 72 on the University of Utah campus – a state-of-the-art teaching and research facility which will benefit our faculty and students for many years to come.
The EAE graduate student studio, the LaLonde student lounge, and meeting and collaboration spaces are located on the top floor south wing of the building; faculty and staff offices are located on the top floor north wing. The lower floor holds two dedicated classlabs for EAE courses, additional meeting and collaboration space, computing lab space for undergraduate Capstone courses, esports training and competition facilities, and our teaching and research labs for game streaming, games user research, motion capture, and VR/AR. A Cafe Brio coffeeshop is also conveniently located on the lower floor.
